Two groomers, one room with windows in it, and no cage dryers anywhere on the property. Book grooming on its own or add it to the last day of a boarding stay.

Priced by coat, not by breed.
Prices below are the starting price for a dog under 25 lb with a coat in normal condition. Bigger dogs and thicker coats cost more; the groomer quotes you the exact number before she starts, not after.
Bath and tidy
Wash, blow-dry by hand, brush out, nails, ears, and a tidy of the feet and sanitary areas. About 90 minutes.

Full groom
Everything in a bath and tidy, plus a full clip or scissor cut to the length you ask for. Two to three hours.

De-shed treatment
For double-coated dogs in spring and autumn. Bath, undercoat rake and a long dry. Removes an alarming amount of dog.

Cat groom
In the cat wing, by appointment only, with a break every ten minutes. Brush-out, nails and a sanitary trim; full clips by consultation.

Nails and ears only
Walk in on a weekday afternoon, no appointment. Ten minutes, and free for any dog already boarding with us.

Any of the above, done during quiet time on your last full day, so your dog goes home clean and dry.

Matted coats
If a coat is matted to the skin, we shave it. We will not spend two hours pulling at a dog to save a haircut, and we will call you from the table before we do it so you are not surprised at pickup.
How the room works
Nobody waits in a crate for three hours.
- ▲Appointments are staggered so your dog goes on the table within fifteen minutes of arriving
- ▲Hand drying only. There is not a cage dryer on the property and there never has been
- ▲Dogs come in from a short walk first, so the table is not the first thing that happens to them
- ▲Cats are groomed in the cat wing, never carried through the dog corridor
- ▲If your pet is frightened past a certain point we stop, and you pay for the bath only
Our groomers are Rosa, who has done this for nineteen years and handles the cats, and Marcus, who came up through the yards and does the big double coats.
